I really thought this year’s team would mirror some of Fran’s good teams at Siena and be really fun to watch. I was dead wrong. This isn’t much fun at all.

Was hoping that he would get into a fight with Davison and they would somehow both get knocked out.

I also let my player play with 2 fouls tonight from the first half. They ended with 3. Although I did have one pick up 5 in second half with zero in there first half. Haha.

Rebound deficit only 3 at half. It was the wide open perimeter looks that indy got that hurt as much as anything. at least 9 points on 3s from one corner alone that was wide open to start the game then twice more after that.
That is the system, they run qnd quick shot and speed the tempo up , but you don't often win if you give up the 96pts they are on pace to give up.
My thought is Iowa runs after quick makes by the other team and often they do get the score back, but that is sort of like Losing money on your average sale but making it up on volume.
These guys better start working out with the football players and get more aggressive or they will get run out of almost all B1G courts...it's been way too easy driving to the basket. Somebody needs to put the hammer down. Trayce - Jackson could score at will if he wanted.

indiana has two guys with pretty good post games and Iowa has no one that can guard Trace Davis without help. Every time they helped it was wide open 3ball from corner....think it was Kupp for at least two of them.

Mulvey got what looked like a clean block on Davis...Keegan also got a clean block...both got called fouls.
Indiana had plenty of opportunities down low, too... and converted them. No tough, low post guys and not smothering shooters is not a good combo.
