Because he's soft. Doesn't want to battle inside the paint or crash the boards. On replay on timeout Purdue's leg was out of bounds and lifted it up when ball came to him. Should've been iowa ball but a tough thing for ref to notice during that sequence. Moot point if patrick crashes the glass.
