Iowa will never be able to play defense straight up as long as Fran is the head Hawk. Keep leaving players wide open as we double team in the middle, same ole, same ole. At least even though the game is going to end around 10, most of the crowd can leave long before that, unless Iowa can start playing defense and hitting shots. Put Connor back on the bench where he's most effective😖

This should be the starting lineup and the bulk of minutes. Bring PMac and JBo in for Perkins when necessary. Obviously spot rest others as well. But those top 4 should be playing as close to 40 minutes as possible.
Your team isn't "deep" when there's such a dropoff to the second team.

Coaching matters. Once again, Fran getting clowned by Painter, who knows Iowa's weaknesses--offense and defense.
Purdue is our worst nightmare. Huge and shooters. We don't run on offense so their bigs get plenty of time to post up on both ends. Much rather see Riley and Gabe than Connor in this game.

Its not like we lose ANYTHING by putting them in for Connor
Is Josh O unavailable? If not, he should be getting a few minutes to try to body up Edey.
He’s already pretty good. He moves and moves the ball well within the flow of the offense, is a threat to shoot, and really has played some decent defense. I’m not really sure what Connor brings over Payton at this point to be completely honest
