Last year Sandfort was the guy that made huge threes when we had momentum and the crowd was into it. Just hasn't been that guy this year.

Watching edey play reminds me of playing against my nephews and dominating them because they are a foot shorter and 100 lbs lighter then me.

overall, good game by Iowa and hopefully same effort in games to follow. Need better defense and rebounding, but Purdue obviously offer a big challenge.
I only saw part of 1st half because of buffering on FS2.
It would be interesting to know what the MINUS was for that lineup of both Harding and Bowen at the guard. I think that accounts for 4-6 points of the difference. Fran was too stubborn to put Dimbelle and Braun on Eddey and that is why Freeman ended up in foul trouble.

Which why I like how Dix lets the game come to him and for the most part doesn't force shots. Dix seems to be getting more comfortable with his offense AND.he plays defense.
This is a game where PMAC could have done about as well as Payton. Both guys are streaky, you never know which version shows up.
