Why do we constantly have to beat the refs and the big brand teams?
Unless your play is designed to go to the rim or a lob, I'd rather have AOG in for a short jumper.

Well, I guess when you get beat three years in a row, you feel disrespected? I don't know. Players get motivation from a lot of places. I just hope this doesn't become a new media hype racial bullshit thing.
1. Hard to be too upset. Was going to be extremely difficult to win 5 games in 5 days, and the reward for another win or two would be what, getting to a 5 instead of a 6? Not much of an advantage. Though maybe a 4 was in the cards if we did win the tournament.
2. Affolter got fouled on her drive worse than Stuelke fouled McMahon (if she did at all). The mistake was in Stuelke choosing to fall down. The refs feel they have to blow their whistle in that situation and they weren't about to give us another charge call.
3. I can't find much fault with the final play with 0.7 seconds. We ended getting an open mid range look that almost went in, which was better than I was expecting, especially after the refs gave OSU a preview of what we were trying to do.

OSU shot 36.5%. Taking Ava out was not a good decision. With .7 on the clock her length would have been an advantage.

Tourney seed won't change and I'd argue a 6 could be better than a 4/5.

Why not put in your 6’4 center who has excelled the last two games? Didn’t really grasp that either. Up by 1, I questioned why she wasn’t in at that point. They didn’t need a three pointer.
OSU wins on two FT made, Syd gets fouled 2x worse next time down and the corrupt and incompetent B1G refs say play on. What fcvking bullshiit That’s the B1G.

Never mind. I don’t think her comment was about the Iowa team. Probably more about how she viewed the Iowa fan base’s reaction to the Angel Reese ‘behavior’.
She wanted to go after the official when she went to the ground due to her teammate banging into her, but a teammate held her back. Should have been a travel.
Iowa had a 1-point lead, turned Ohio State over and marched down the court. Was the Feuerbach 3-point attempt the best shot Iowa could get? I felt Iowa should have worked the clock a bit more and get a better shot. Had Iowa scored on that possession it would have been very difficult for Ohio State to come back.

She is usually wide open for a reason. She is not a good shooter. She makes just enough to think she is. Her biggest strength on offense is getting to the rim.
Anyone else confused why we consistently tear down our coaches and who was playing after a loss. I guess I’ll never get it? There’s literally hundreds of scenarios they have to consider during a game, I guess I’ve never felt the urge to nitpick every single thing, the coaches did. It makes zero sense to me. 🤷♂️

Its honestly not hard to envision why you wouldn’t have a 6-4 freshman in the game who is foul prone at the very end. It’s also not hard to see why you would have the toughest player in the Big Ten driving to the rack and hoping she gets fouled. She’s a hell of a free-throw shooter. I mean honestly I literally don’t get what some of you see as so called “mistakes” maybe its just me…
