And that 3rd down completion is why you go with Padilla. He extended the play with his legs. If only he had been playing since the second half of the SDSU game, he might actually be in midseason form.

Padilla isn't the answer but he shows he can extends some plays especially with this oline. Give him a few more reps throughout the season and it would have helped

Padillo with 1/3 for positive yards on three plays that Petras would have sacked 3 times.
Two bad Padillo not exacty drew Tate seeing things downfield but Iowa receivers are not very good
either and probaby not open.
