The lobs to AOG do not work. Her feet are stuck in cement.
Our defense is awesome, but it pisses me off when we make a three pointer and then let a girl open to shoot another one. Had we been out on her? She wouldn’t have shot… Second as much as we’ve turned it over. We are way out, scoring them on turnovers
If you have to think that long about the lob or even a shot then you shouldn’t take it.
Another way of saying they're playing more physical. Iowa is not a physical team as a whole. I'd say a couple of the freshmen are though.
I think thats significant… Because not only are we turning it over, we’re shooting it poorly, and we’re down by 1 and someone help me out here…. Bare minimum four of those turnovers are passes to O’Grady and if you told me five or even six, I might agree
This is like a mediocre high school game. Both teams just sloppy.

They can’t handle HS and Ayrault struggles scoring on her.
And for those of you, like me that want Heiden playing more, part of her problem is confidence… She turned the ball over when she had pretty good position and should’ve went up for a shot… She needs to put it up when she’s that low

The stupid looks on their face when they foul 75’ from the hoop is annoying
Advantage IA at half on multiple fronts...
- Olson played her poorest half yet
- MSU has 3 players with 3 fouls, Hanna & Syd only Hawks with 2
- And of course, 14 turnovers
And somehow we're up 5 points with a nice momentum booster at the end. Thank goodness for Hannah that first half or we'd be in big trouble.

MSU 38% 44% 3
TOs..
Iowa 14, MSU 12 but we have way more points off turnovers, not sure how many
We are out rebounding them 22 to 16
Their best player is 4 for 10 (HS is handling her well and our best player is 2-8

Iowa has handled the press well, The unforced TO’s in the half court is maddening. Ugly half of BB but damn sure would rather be up 5 then down 5.
Everyone agrees CC is incredible with her B-ball IQ being off the charts, but she is way better athlete than she gets credit for. She’s very fast, her lateral quickness isn’t elite, but her speed with and without the ball is elite, and her jumping and strength with the ball is also very high.
That’s my obligatory CC compliment for the day😂
