RU fan here. Our ladies team stinks. Ugly game for RU. Same for mens game tomorrow. Unbelievable how quickly both men and women’s team went south. Next year can’t come fast enough for the men’s team. Good luck tomorrow but am desperately hoping for a RU win.

Yeah, she was getting a bit chippy. I thought play under the basket was a bit physical though and some fouls could have been called on both sides. Basketball is no longer a no contact sport as it was intended.

My bad Starting 1-5 from 3 (some of those shots not even close) and missing like 5 layups is what we’re accustomed to seeing from her. Jfc man.
I was close. Great to see Gabbie hit some shots. If she can consistently do that we’re cooking. Kate and Syd with real solid games as well! Great job ladies!!
A bit? I made it a point of keeping an eye on her. She should have been tossed and I'm being serious. She was playing pissed off at the world, thankfully she didn't hurt anyone, the dumb***
I was surprised by Martins stat line. I figured she had a triple double as well as CC. She was all over the place.
I seen a few arms and elbows flying from our center (can't remember her name now). It was pretty physical under the basket. As I stated basketball is not a no contact sport as it was intended years ago. Backing in, poshing off and all the other stuff that goes on. I was not defending her actions at all.

Shows how a lot of rankings just don’t align with reality. There is often great disparity between different rankings as well — Syd Affolter is a great example. ESPN didn’t include her in their top 100, but Prospects Nation had her at 60 something. An incoming recruit — Taylor Stremlow — is in a very similar position. She is 80 something per ESPN (same as McCabe) but 60 something in Prospects Nation. Prospects Nation had O’Grady significantly lower than ESPN as well…something like 135 maybe.
@AMAYS has been a longtime proponent of looking past a ranking and instead focusing on a kid’s other offers as a better measure. By that metric, we rly don’t have any kids with impressive offers besides Clark. Stuelke committed very early but she reportedly had interest from Maryland. Ava Jones had some interesting Big 12 / PAC 12 offers but no Stanford, Baylor, etc. Affolter also had a long list from many big schools across the country but no heavy hitters that I know of.
Thats not the necessarily the case for the class of 2024 tho — Taegan Mallegni had offers from Duke and Ohio State, and Aaliyah Guyton also had one from Ohio State (as you might guess, Ohio State ALWAYS recruits really well). Ava Heiden was a bit cagey about her offers so we’re not as sure about hers.
As for the future, Bluder has her eyes on some elite talent in the classes of 2025 and 2026. But her work is cut out for her obviously, competing with every blue blood for them.
Terrible is probably a bit harsh considering neither has played 20 minutes all season. Both were injured most of last year as well.......
Honestly she's VERY inconsistent. She gets knocked around easily sometimes off her feet. I look at her against someone like Syd. Both work hard, but Syd plays through contact and imposes her will , while Kylie gets pushed around. She also gets a lot of fouls per minute played.
