Not a soccer expert but 25 was horrific as a second half sub. He looked terrified out there and was basically as useless as boar tits. Not at all surprised to then watch him flub the kick. He was uncomfortable whole time out there.
English coach just ruined that kids career. He’ll have to move.
Very poor coaching on the PKs. Pick a spot and kick it as hard as you can. They were all dancing and trying to be tricky. The last kid had zero confidence in his kick. The coach did a number on him.
He’s very young.
Maybe someone can explain why Sterling or Grealish didn’t take that final kick instead of Saka?

Yep. Again I knew nothing of him but watching him come on after pep talk from coach in second half and you could immediately tell he was not at all ready for moment. Far from the spark, he could barely run those first five minutes on field and spent rest of time terrified of having to touch the ball…which is not ideal for one of your guys on attack.
I’m sure you’re just joking but I can only imagine the racist crap blowing up their social media accounts.
I’m reading Saka has never before taken a penalty at the senior level, club or country. Wow.
I was one of those people. Maybe the WFH situation a lot of Americans have contributed to the numbers being up through all 51 matches. A lot of the matches were during the day and I could keep it on in the background while working. The initial matches peaked my interest enough to watch the final.
