It's all a pointless comparison. And a record that THOUSANDS of players have had an opportunity to break with 4 years. People need to stop diminishing it. Just let it stand as it is.

True. Averaging 38.1 shots per game. During his time at lsu, he took 50.4% of all their shots.

No one else was allowed to shoot on those LSU teams. Pete actually did shoot 40 times per game. He wasn't anywhere near the top in assists.
But it's a different era. No 3 point line, didn't play 4 years. Totally different game really.
