Agreed. Kirk isn’t going to go after a QB. I doubt he’d even take one if they approached Iowa first.
I live in Ankeny, so take this with a grain of salt, but he is the best high school QB I’ve ever seen in person.
Agreed. Especially since he’s coming off of a surgery. He doesn’t have very good arm strength to begin with let alone coming off arm surgery.
His Jr. season was nuts though, and that was in the pirates offense, which Grubb certainly is in the same style of.

No, probably not, schools know Phil is a Hawk for life unless Kirk goes. Just like TEs coming to Iowa, one would think defenders would be beating down the door to play in this D, especially if the new OC gets the freedom and full opportunity to fix the offense.
Would you leave that schedule ... too easy. Iowa staff is comfortable, Iowa hates change. They know it. Almost a life time contract unless you are a screw up like Brian Ferentz.
What about Nebraska? We raped them on the field, so why not double down on them via the portal? Have to think they have many guys wanting to leave that perennial dumpster fire…maybe we can cherry pick, assuming any worth picking hit the portal. I realize it’s slim pickings there.
