UCLA (25-1, 13-1) comes to Carver looking to stay in the big ten title chase.

Iowa (18-8, 8-7) is trying to improve their tournament seeding and try to stay above .500 in the BT.

UCLA defense is impressive. Giving up a league best 55 pts per game.

77-61 UCLA

Gonna be a tough one. UCLA coming off two nice W's against good teams, beating #22 MSU by 6 (without Betts) and #25 Illinois by 15. They are playing for a B1G regular season title.

Hawks need their A game to keep this one close.

Can someone.....anyone....inform me: My Wife thinks she remembers seeing that this game is a "pink out". Is that true and thus, all fans are to wear pink (if possible)? TIA.

Similar predictions were made when the JuJu show and USC came to town as 15 point favorites. And sure, a big UCLA win is the most likely outcome, although it's interesting they're only about an 8-point favorite. But I'm not goin' with likely. I'm goin' with the Hawkeyes.

Iowa will put the clamps on UCLA, Betts included. And the Hawkeyes will ride the Carver crowd to another huge upset as Iowa sweeps the LA schools. Book it.

BTW: It would be helpful, though, if the refs didn't call every ticky-tack foul on Iowa but did keep close tabs on Betts' traveling, pushing, and barging around. How this game is called, as is the case way too often, will have a huge impact. If Iowa gets an even break, UCLA is in trouble.

Too much defensive pressure, too much quickness, too much height, too many anticipatory whistles, too much panic

Giving the points and hoping I’m wrong.

And the fact were not going to "sneak up on them". Close has had time to remind them what we did when USC came calling. We won't have the benefit of an 18-1 start to begin this one or the Lady Bears overlooking Iowa....
