Why Patrick for Dix 90 seconds into the 2h?

Ugh he is going to sneak back into the second round of NBA draft predictions at this rate.
What the hell, Jump hook,off balance throw that clangs off the rim to the right?
He’s terrible. Just throw it up hoping it goes in. Not the shot you need in that situation. No awareness of the need to work your offense for a good shot down 10.
Sooo... 4 fouls all last half. 4 fouls in less than 3 minutes this half? That's... not good.
Dix is one of the better defenders on this team. Taking him out for Patrick is all we need to know about Fran and his philosophy on defense.
Fran doesn't want to get IU pregnant, so he pulled Dix out before he could shoot it (from) deep.
Have said this before:
Perkins gets very few breaks from the officials.
Lots of contact on his drives/shots. Very few fouls called.
