Will say this team beat Wisconsin, beat Michigan St. and took tOSU to the brink on three straight nights. Sucks to lose but that's impressive.
Yeah, that's about the best we could have expected. Especially after the ref bullshit.
Also, I would have definitely had the ball in Lucy's hands on the last play. Otherwise, kudos to Jan and the gals for being so hard to put away.
Taylor needs to become a 2 dimensional scorer next year and the alpha on the court she never takes the ball to the basket
Also want to add that Ohio St. fouled end of the half and we didn't score.
We didn't foul and gave up a put back at the buzzer in the 3rd.
I'm still frustrated by the officiating down the stretch. It was a no call against Hannah, at best. It could have been a hook against McMahnon.
Then to stop play to tell the girl not to foul in the lane? Totally correct on the guy above. This isn't a soccer corner kick... an off ball foul is an off ball foul.
Probably unpopular but I had no problem with Syd driving after the refs interjected themselves in the last play.
It's disappointing how the officials continually bail out McMahon when she just barrels into the paint out of control.
They will get beat early in the NCCA tournament because they are just not that good.

We have a very good team and I will not lay blame at anyone’s feet, sketchy foul call inside late though, for sure. No reason to point fingers after an effort like that!

Folks stop ragging on Jan. OSU knew where the first three options were on this in bounds play. A house league 8U coach would know. Hannah was the one who broke open. She had to shoot.
We lost for other reasons, not this last play design. We shot 39%. Cannot do that against a top ten team. Jan has them playing very well. If we shoot our season average we win by 10. NSAAs are coming and we can make an impact there.
UCLA hammers OSU tomorrow. Easy bet. OSU cannot handle Betts and company.

I hope when the Hawks get to the NCAA some of the late game calls will go their way, Doesn’t seem to work to well in the Big.
Would have liked to have seen Heiden on the floor on the final OSU possession for defense; you knew they were going to McMahon. Ava might've been able to alter or block her shot.
Not sure what McMahon is referring to when she says Iowa disrespects them. Not a good look.

Jan should have seen what everyone else saw...McCabe was never going to take a shot in the last two minutes and her defense is suspect.
