I'm an amateur at this so hoping someone could help me out. Looking at our young guys after this year and into the next couple, here's my shot, correct me where I'm wrong.

125 - Ayala, Nate J (flipped?)
133 - Teske, Ayala
Does Ybarra fit anywhere?

141 - Woods, Schroeder?
149 - Chittum, Reyna, Rathjen?
157 Riggins
165 - Kennedy
174 - Brands, then...
184 - Assad, Arnold
197 - Franklin, Glazier
HWT - Keuter

When Brands is gone, would Reyna go 57, Riggins 65, Kennedy 74?

Reyna is not at starter level. Kennedy doesn't even seem big for 165. Probably better off getting a new blue chip for 174. Ybarra is not starter level. Hopefully Block can hold 141 otherwise we have a hole after Woods. Not sure which weight Chittum goes, if it's 149 it will be Siebrecht and Rathjen going for 157 if he goes 157 I'm sure Rathjen will be 149 possibly Siebrecht if he can make the cut still. 197 could use some attention.

Are we sure that Gabe will be 184 in college? Coach Phil made a comment about him walking around at 180.. Which makes me think even higher of him beating top 4 guys at his weight class without cutting a pound.

He might be walking around at 180 in season but I'm pretty sure his out of season weight has been over 200 before.

That’s what happens when you take 5 months off to find your passion again. Trust me, that frame ain’t gonna see 200 again unless he is specifically told to . 😉
So, he’s gonna be a heavy?

Doh! OK. Got it. You have a mechanism in place to prevent him from locking himself away and pounding Cheetos, donuts and Pepsi… lol

Love this kid but to be honest I like him better at 174 in college if that is possible. Little worried about his height at 184.

As much as I hate to say we NEED to land Ferrari. Man that hurts even saying that. We need him to beat those guys in PA. If and I mean if Nate changes his mind we need to get Lilendahl(sp)

He mentioned that the struggle with cutting to 170 was part of what made him lose his passion so I'm not sure 174 is a whole lot better. I like his quickness miss match at 184.

Well the problem is at 182, he's around 20% body fat. The issue was CUTTING the weight. Not maintaining it. When he maintains and manages, the weight is never an issue. Just had way too many distractions last year to keep focus. Hence why he's now in the great state of Iowa, just being your normal Iowa wrestler.
