I kinda think it was a foul by the rules but it never gets called.
If I was UConn... I'd be pissed about that foul..

Based on all the bumping and holding they’ve allowed all game I’d say no. If it’d been called tighter then it’s more reasonable.

Staley and SC can't be happy that Iowa won.
The Hawks, and CC, played arguably their worst game in almost 2 years, and still survived.
Can't see them coming out and looking that bad again for a second straight game, especially with a Natty on the line.

It was a tough call. By the letter she was leaning, but I agree that there's gonna be a sh** storm about that call.
We are VERY thankful this game was played on a Friday so that the media won't be able to latch onto this for the rest of the week.

Just want to point out that there is probably a greater than 50% chance that regardless of the foul that UConn misses the shot anyways. People seem to be assuming that UCON scores if the foul isn't made.
Uconn coach knew it. Bent over, turned the other way and dropped F bombs. No reason to move into Gabby and put the shoulder into her.
Congratulations to the Iowa Women. Great second half. Hannah was the best player on the court tonight. Quite a game and accomplishment.
All combined, the ladies can't have played a worse game in a huge game situation ..... and still barely survived.
Time to change that 0-1 NC record to 1-1 on Sunday! (oh, and be the only team to beat South Carolina two years in a row!!)
