As far as the end of the half run by VA, I still like how Iowa got their 15-0 run in without having the end of half cool them off. Teams always will get their runs, but at least VAs run ended early because of time. A 14 pt lead at VA is pretty good no matter what.

First half Keegan has looked good….JBO shooting well, Perkins with good minutes.

Joe T looking like the PG I hoped he would be, very pleased with his performance.

Patrick, Ulis, Kris, Rebraca all looking pretty good.

High light for me, Payton blocks a shot on the perimeter!

Jbo really the key so far. That early 3 was monstrous, gave the team confidence. Keegan’s having his worst game of the year and still 11/5 at half. Everyone playing well, but no way we keep shooting like that. Need to keep up defensive intensity, we let up at the end of the half.

UVA lost to Navy and Houston... giving up close to 70 each time. Good sign if hawks can get to that

UVA around 50% shooting....would like defense to hold them to lower shooting percentage and then Iowa doesn't have to shoot 60% again in 2nd half.

When teams start to climb back into games, why is Fran so hesitant to call a timeout? Particularly with a less experienced team like this. And also when you can't carry them over to the 2nd half

Any game that JoBo goes 4-6 from the arc Im guessing IOWA is usually up, and probably by 10…

Basketball is a game of runs. You’ll never hear me complaining about a 14 point lead on the road in a tough environment vs a well-coached and capable team.

It is apparent that teams will having a hard time constantly switching vs this Iowa team. It immediately creates mismatches that Iowa can really exploit.

Have these guys watched Iowa in the last five years? Why are they shocked we put up 44 in the first half?
