we have no bigs. Just a bunch of weak ass 6 7 kids. This game was lost on the recruiting trail.
I don't think he's effective on the Front end of the press. I think you can count on 1 hand the career steals he has had off the press and when the opponent beats the press PMAC is just jogging back on defense and late to matchup. He's not the reason we lost, but we did lose because we have too many below the rim, slender dudes.
Again, Sandfort was selfish with a minute to go. Still can't play defense

Sandfort shot selection at end of games is baffling
Play freeman and dembele until they foul out. Fran subbed o for d (which he never does) freeman for dembele to leave pmac in. A horrible shooter and horrible defender. Great call.
Lot of negatives but it really comes to the senior krikke playing absolutely terrible. If your jumper isn’t going you can’t just fold like a chair.
A few of Iowa’s biggest problems cropped up in the last minute. Defense from PMac, shot selection from Sandfort, Perkins not really being a point guard...
