This game was winnable for sure but we pooped our pants last 2 minutes
Freeman is a stud. Dimbele is thick and can play defense. That is only two guys on the entire roster. Need more muscle, athleticism, size, toughness.
Krikke, Pmac, Sandfort---they can't defend anyone inside the paint. At least Payton rebounds pretty well.
Krikke and Pmac are negatives if they aren't hitting shots.
I'll gladly watch game ending meltdown losses for the rest of the year, if there are no longer ANY McCaffreys in the Iowa program next year.

Pretty proud of this team coming back. Refs bailed out Indiana inside players way too many times. That was a 3 by Sandfort.
Fran never should have put Krikke back in for Dembele. Big mistake. Dembele was defending and rebounding much better than Krikke. If Krikke isn’t scoring he shouldn’t be playing.

Could have shot better (particularly Krikke), rebounded better, but reality is we were ahead 68-66 and had a chance. But wilted again.

Just like CMAC....the McCafferies are at their best when inbounding the ball or sitting on bench, not so good on the court though CMAC did play a lot harder/tougher on defense than PMAC does.
Krikke not being able to hit any mid range tonight killed us. We only had like 4 turnovers and somehow lost lol. Refs lets a lot of Indiana contact go on offensive boards, their dudes were climbing all over our box outs with no calls.
Maybe this is where I'm glass is half empty, but how about don't get down by 17 in the first place
Demble at least hammers people on defense. I hated the bad boy Pistons, but what they did was effective
Just say it "PMac is a negative". Shots are few and far between. Never enough to outweigh the bad defense and rebounding and floating around the 3 on offense
Lots of chances but to me the game boiled down to rebounding and giving up 2nd chance points.
