Had to break out the ignore button for the first time in a while. Tough weekend. Love our guys, excited for the future.

Good luck Hawk + i with some of these clowns. Iowa's wrestling performance is better than most of the posts in this forum. Lots of these posters call people names, tell others to **** off, and then play moral expert if you reply in kind.
The bottom line is the Iowa coaches are getting outwitted by PSU. In matches, the Iowa wrestlers are not adjusting to beat PSU wrestlers. Over the last 5 years, I've heard time and time again how frustrating it is to see the same old crap in Iowa's wrestling. Fans can see it. It's obvious TNT know Iowa needs to open up, adjust, and get offensive (listen to their interviews and previews, TNT are always talking about widening the gap). But the fact remains: TNT are not, for whatever reason, able to get the wrestlers to perform. Cael is able to get his guys to adjust, adapt, and win.
Hawk + i, others will come around once Iowa starts finishing 5th and 6th in the Big Ten and Nationals. After Lee wins next year, Iowa will decline to Okie St level.
But don't hold your breathe about getting anyone of them to acknowledge they were wrong and you were right.
Cassar would be the guy. English had a nice tournament but hardly the second coming. The thing is he gets walk on guys who are better than guys we give low level $$$ to.
If you're going to call someone a dumbass, at least spell it right!!
I know it's a hollow consolation prize, but truly congrats on 3rd. You guys had every possible bad break it seemed and to still get third, I'm impressed. Just goes to show how good you could have been.

I have absolutely no problem that Jacob shot. The problem I have is that it wasn't a 30 seconds left in the third kind of shot. That's a first or second period shot. He'd proven during the dual that he can take Dean down relatively easily, needed to try that shit the first and second, and if he gets taken down no harm no foul.
I absolutely love the guy, and I would take our coaches over Cael and Co. every single time. Winning isn't absolutely everything (though it's close). We've proven we can not only compete for and win titles, but do it the right way and mold kids into very fine young men prepared for their future.
TnT hate losing more than any of you combined, and I know they will step back, evaluate, and use every advantage they have at their disposal (within the rules, that's the key here) to adapt and keep putting together title winning teams.

I actually loved Cenzo, and don't know many people that didn't. Most respected his let it fly style. Absolutely despised Nickal though.
Also 3 out of 4 of the people I named weren't penn state guys, but as per usual you have to make everything about yourselves.
