I suggest running Carr off the 3 pt line and daring him to drive. His 2 pt shooting is terrible in conference play this year and for most of his career (though he can draw a lot of fouls).

Only if someone goes off well above the norm like Johnson did in the barn. The kind of defensive effort we saw the last 30 minutes against Maryland will give Iowa a solid win. Look for a quick hook today for any starter that doesn't come out playing hard on both ends.....
They need to counter that by calling the cylinder rule. You step in it, you should get a foul. Iowa wins a tight one down the stretch with free throws to close it out.
With how pissed Garza was last time, I don’t think Minny makes it close. There is no way Johnson can hit 8 3’s against us again. I think Iowa wins by about 15-20.
What the refs need to actively look for is flopping.
My dream scenerio would be Iowa by 38. Minnesota deserves it.

Totally depends on how the game starts in my opinion. If Iowa comes out on fire then Minnesota has to have the feeling of "here we go again..."
Fran has talked about the need to come out with more energy.
All the more reason for everyone locking them down defensively. Each player has to take ownership on defense. 😀

I was thinking same thing about OSU going into the RAC and playing Rutgers and that didn't work out. Revenge might be a factor for iowa, hopefully road woes for minny are also a factor.
