I can’t wait until Iowa women have the firepower they had the last couple years again.
Horrible officiating - hope those clowns aren't coming here to indy for the B1G WBB tourney.
May not watch another game this year we got ****ed big time. I hope UCLA loses in the first round of the tournament and I am normally big-time pro Big Ten, but **** these West Coast teams. They’re not that good and as I’ve told a couple of you guys even as a big 10 homer I’m not sure the big 10 is that good…
I’ll say it this way we’ve now lost nine games and we have yet to lose a game in a blowout. I’m leaning towards the BIG 10 really isn’t that good?
I’m super ****ing pissed…. And anyone that thinks UCLA has better athletes doesn’t know ****ing shit about what they’re seeing with their own eyes.. they held and grabbed all game long because they couldn’t keep up with us

Nah, that would have been running the clock down to under 10 seconds then frantically trying to find a shot only to chuck up a prayer that doesn't go.
(I know there have been some game winners, but the above is how Fran always seems to play under 2 min)
There needs to be a coaches challenge. We lose because their player trips ours into a foul.
Layup would have been an option too, but why AOG would ever step out for that 3 is beyond me.
I hope they get kidnapped and held in a cellar in Cuba for 20 ****ing years! I don’t have near the vitriol for men’s teams or even the football teams that I do for these ****ing women’s teams….
They’re petty, they’re catty and they’re just flat shits, Ohio State, Michigan State, UCLA, Nebraska, you could put their whole ****ing programs in a ship in the middle of the ocean, sink it to the bottom of the sea

I would love to see a replay of that last foul on Iowa. I don't know if there was an actual foul or not, but several people in here seem to think not.
Notice how during timeout she just stood there and Stampf was the coach drawing up the play on the whiteboard. I know asst. have plays and stuff but odd time as HC to not draw something up yourself.
To me it seemed the ref wanted to take the whistle back and play on but it was too late.
That is what happens when you anticipate making a call - it never materialized & she screwed up.

Don’t do this…. Those girls played their ass off for her. When’s the last time you saw the men give everything they had on both ends of the floor for Fran. And quite frankly, I don’t read the Men’s message board because I’m so tired of all the nasty, shitty things are fans say… Even to him…..but all the same they have never played defense in a three minute stretch like these girls play the whole ****ing game.!!!
She doesn’t deserve to be lumped into that, even if it was an interesting decision. Not to mention, Lauren Betts touched that ****ing ball you could see the rotation changed.
Anyone else not impressed with UCLA as a team? They supposedly have some of the best recruits in the nation but outside of Betts and Rice I’m not sure any others on their team are better than what we have. Granted, this is a one game sample for myself.
Lucy was stepped on by their screener and fell down and player with ball tripped over her. Awful.
Moving screen, leg was way out there, tripped Lucy.
Just from a fan’s perspective, I feel that is a weakness of hers. 🤷♂️

Eh, it was a road game at a tough venue to play against an Iowa team whose record doesn't really reflect how good they are. If Hannah doesn't get hurt they probably have 3ish more wins than they do.
It was a great tackle. Iowa would have had a touchdown otherwise.
Verdict IMO still out on JJ, The last two plays called from the bench were very concerning
The rule states the feet must be within the shoulders on a legal screen. Her feet were well outside the shoulders. Illegal screen, offensive foul. Same type of call in the UConn Iowa game last year and that was called correctly.

Hmmm….interesting. Funny I do lean towards giving the benefit of the doubt when a person’s humanity shows.. still a mistake, but if she truly thought that was a ****ing foul, then she shouldn’t ref anymore. She got tripped that’s a ****ing Fallon itself.
Olson fouled her no doubt. However that right leg of the screener that tripped her could’ve been called a foul.
Because their offensive sets have players standing and watching. When they play with pace, they are so much better.
You called it. Foul on Lucy after she's tripped by the UCLA screener and falls into the UCLA dribbler with 3.8 left. Helluva way to gift the game to UCLA. I posted it yesterday: If Iowa gets just a fair shake from the refs, they win. They didn't, and they didn't. Pretty simple.
