Great win, but what is with the Virginia love affair with the ESPN guys back in the studio? Good grief, all they could talk about was Virginia.
Listening to that postgame, I thought VA won. Could’ve given Iowa a bit more credit rather than talking about a Virginia moral victory.

The Iowa players on the team played their hearts out and deserved to win. And they won.

.I don't understand leaving UVA Murray wide open in corner for maybe 4 corner 3's? The other guy with Corner trees was a big and I guess the strategy was to give him the 3's, but UVA Murray looks to be a shooter with sole function to make 3's.

When down... I like taking the shot early, especially if a good look presents itself.
Sometimes when you hold too long, you end up jacking up a bad shot.
Its not the plan but when you can't stop dribble penetration thats what happens.

How many minutes did Perkins get in the second half? One of our best defenders and it seemed like he had limited minutes in the 2nd

Don't understand this sentiment. Just how did we not deserve to win. We kicked the crap out of Virginia on their court the first half. They spent the rest of the game playing catch up. We fought them off and finally won a game on a last second shot and we didn't deserve to win??
I hear you! 8 seconds is a lot of time to give Virginia, but they did have to bring it up quick and rush a shot.
