Too bad he doesn't like country music, we could have swayed him with the Music City Bowl.

Tells ya how "attached" he was to committing to Iowa.
One could even argue that his verbal to Iowa was just a way of leveraging more money from the bigger programs.

As the football season progressed it became evident that Iowa needed Kadyn badly with the offensive line play. He was probably not going to get more NIL money from iowa. He probably got a lot more at Bama.Tells ya how "attached" he was to committing to Iowa.

Why does 2020 REFUSE TO GO AWAY?!?!WHY SHOULD PLAYERS GET PAID!!!!!!! Fuggin JBo coming back to haunt Iowa!
Why does 2020 REFUSE TO GO AWAY?!?!
I think the only question left to answer is whether he thanks God and quotes the Bible for helping him make such a difficult decision come Wednesday...............
@Hawkness Monster ?
Then I may forgive him.....What if he ends with **** wisconsin?
You must not have seen the latest "Dr. Rick" commercial https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...10A14F680C88000C61AE10A14F680C88000&FORM=VIREIf true, that is a bad way to let the staff know while your twiiter still shows 100% committed to Iowa. These kids, including THIS kid needs to man up...and his parents should be saying the same thing. Pick up the phone and call. My gosh
I think it is the other way around. He burned bridges with Iowa.Don't burn bridges with the recruit. If he goes to Alabama and it doesn't work out, you'll still be in play come transfer-portal time. These last minute flips happen all of the time. One O-lineman is not going to make or break a class. It hurts and it sucks when it happens to your team, but if he really did get offered $2MM+ by Alabama, he should flip. 100%.
Coaches do this to fringe players frequently as it gets close to signing day. It doesn't create as much of a stir because it usually involves a a 2 or 3-star player who might have been a stretch commit for a team. When someone better comes along, they'll discard the commit or make him greyshirt. It's not right, but it happens a lot. There's nothing honorable about college football recruiting. NIL just ratchets up things even more.
This crossed my mind as well. If this was truly a business deal, it’s great leveraging.Tells ya how "attached" he was to committing to Iowa.

Oh that is a given.I think the only question left to answer is whether he thanks God and quotes the Bible for helping him make such a difficult decision come Wednesday...............
@Hawkness Monster ?
Granted, Iowa has lost some of it's luster than a few decades ago, but it's still shangri la compared to Alabama. Alabama continually ranks in the bottom 10 states in the country by a comprehensive list of factors.We’re comparing Iowa to Alabama. It’s a lateral move.
I'm going to the basketball board!
If you go to Alabama, it may be more appropriate to thank Lucifer and quote something from "Sympathy for the Devil."I think the only question left to answer is whether he thanks God and quotes the Bible for helping him make such a difficult decision come Wednesday...............
@Hawkness Monster ?
I just hope he doesn’t bolt to Georgia or LSU.I hope Nwankpa just explodes on the scene next year and lives up to his 5 star billing because he will be absolutely loved by Hawkeye fans as the 5 star who stayed and balled out.
I just hope he doesn’t bolt to Georgia or LSU.
He won't. Kid is all Hawk.I just hope he doesn’t bolt to Georgia or LSU.
Will do. Definitely the refs sucked the last game. Oh wait, we won that one, never mind!Make sure to blame the officials for every loss while you are there...Oh and drum up some B1G conspiracy thoughts too.
At least it wasn't any flagrant 1's and hook and holds missedin the last game!Make sure to blame the officials for every loss while you are there...Oh and drum up some B1G conspiracy thoughts too.
Actually - blame Jay Bilas!Why does 2020 REFUSE TO GO AWAY?!?!
From what I have heard, this might be the bigger factor.I just hope his mom and/or dad are giving him advice based on what’s best for Kayden, rather than what’s best for mom and/or dad…
If you go to Alabama, it may be more appropriate to thank Lucifer and quote something from "Sympathy for the Devil."
Yep, big parental influence going on. Actually feel bad for him in a way. I would hate it if my parents were trying to influence my decision on where i should go. I think the best thing to do is to be there for advice and support and let them choose their own path.From what I have heard, this might be the bigger factor.
Damn @TheonGreyJoy you need to step up your game so this light Mode user will screenshot your posts
This isn't going to last in it's current form. There's either going to be something major that happens as the catalyst for regulation to come in or coaches are going to get together and form an alliance to force reform.I submit this as Exhibit A - the fact we are nearly on page 40 of this thread - of how stupid NIL is and how much it will decrease the enjoyment of the college football. Dumb!
